#treatyoself: Prairie Artisan Ale Blueberry Boyfriend

Fall is creeping in on us, you guys. I can tell because Oktoberfests are being announced and released and yes, I love Oktoberfests so so much but honestly I'm not ready! Tomorrow's high is 90 for gosh sakes, I'm not about to shift away from the fruity, sour-y summer beer season I've had this year. That why my latest treat to myself was Prairie Artisan Ale's Blueberry Boyfriend.

My first Prairie beer was a birthday bomb that I got on tap at Beermiscuous in Chicago, obviously chosen for it's high ABV. Then I started seeing it everywhere and I'm always so impressed by their latest creations. Also it's pretty nice that a brewery from Tulsa distributes to Minnesota.

Ok so on to the beer. Blueberry Boyfriend is a sour ale with blueberries and lemon zest. It was released in June and it's delightfully sour. Seriously, the sour hits you right away. It may be too much for the sour-averse among us. But if you love sours and you love fruity beers and you think you deserve a little treat, then grab a Blueberry Boyfriend.

I'm panicking a little bit that sour season is winding down, so I need help. What are the sour beers I need to snatch up before my internal clock starts telling me I need something pumpkin-flavored?
