Bent Paddle's Shiny New Taproom

I love a good trip up north, and Duluth was the first up north destination to steal my heart. I loved it before the city's craft beer scene blew up, so you can imagine how fondly I hold it now. Bent Paddle, now the largest brewery in Duluth, just opened up an expanded taproom a couple months ago, and let me tell you, it is worth the visit.

The space is over 5,000 square feet, a huge improvement from their previous taproom. And with that additional space, they'll be brewing more taproom-exclusive beers. What I love about the feel of the place is that, while it has the exposed brick warehouse feel that many taprooms do, it is alive with color! Bright oranges, greens and turquoise fill the vibrant space that also feels mighty cozy.

Next time you're in Duluth, definitely make this a stop. A couple of my favorite beers come from Bent Paddle: the ESB and the Cold Press Black. Fill up your flight with those and whatever their latest taproom releases might be.
